Recently, a technology called Dynamic Projection Mapping (DPM) has been gaining popularity. It allows real-time projection on moving objects. However, one challenge is accurately determining the position of the moving object.

This research focuses on the ability to track the position of a moving object when a known 3D model is available. It compares the input image, which is detected using edge detection, with the 3D model from the previous position. By analyzing the differences in corresponding points, the position of the object can be determined.

The use of an infrared camera ensures that the projected image is not affected by the input image.

This technology has potential applications in education and other fields. It can also be utilized in tangible interfaces.
